A type of arthritis that occurs when flexible tissue at the ends of bones wears down. The wearing down of the protective tissue at the ends of bones (cartilage) occurs gradually and worsens over time. Joint pain in the hands, neck, lower back, knees, or hips is the most common symptom.

The Study

  • Clinical Research Associates of Tidewater is conducting a study is to evaluate the therapeutic equivalence and safety of a new and effective medication for the treatment of pain caused by Osteoarthritis of the Knee.

 

Qualified Participants:

  •   Over 50 years of age
  •   Less than 30 minutes of morning stiffness
  •   Crepitus (grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations) on the action of motion
  •   Bony tenderness
  •   Bony enlargement
  •   Warmth around the kneecap

 

If Qualified and you participate you will receive:

  • Qualified participants will receive all study-related medical exams, lab tests, and investigational medications at no cost, and compensation up to $50 is available for your time and travel.
